Jess Brown Dolls

Just check out the socks on the top left one! Jess Brown Dolls are made in Petaluma, California (near where my Aunt lives - you have to get a job there Dedi!) and are just the most amazingly made dolls you have ever seen. They measure 22 inches high (pretty high!) and each doll is hand dyed in Persian black tea to create a variation of skin tones. They are stuffed with sustainable fibre and are made of cotton, linen and muslin, primarily from recycled and antique fabrics and accessories. They are available at the Couverture & Garbstore (best shop - I have only just discovered it) and also check out Jess Brown's site here.
