Flare Path at the Haymarket Theatre




Sienna Miller and Sheridan Smith in the shabby, vintage hotel lobby, where the WW2 Flare Path is set. Not unbelievably moving but it is a really funny production, as well as compassionate and heart breaking (as Sheridan Smith's character bravely waits for her Polish husband to return and reads a letter he wrote for her in French) it highlights the closeness of death as all times during the war as bombers fly overhead.   
The Haymarket is beautiful too:
