My film - I finally managed to go into college and finish it. Just had the best weekend away in Cornwall. (So many funny) Pictures to come.
The quality of this is dreadful - I'll post the high res one on my website portfolio in August so that you can see it properly. This one makes me feel a bit sick, so much effort went in in filming, editing and flash animationing that to see it tiny and pixelated is harrowing but I'll get the proper one up!

Anna is a fashion illustrator and graffiti artist who did some drawings for H & M which ended up on t-shirts, one of which I nearly bought but it was too seethrough - I love her illustrations check out her myspace here.
Just getting ready to head to Cornwall for my friends hen weekend! Cluck cluck.

Erin Wasson is a supermodel and a skater (with a halfpipe in her backyard), she serves as muse and stylist to Alexander Wang, and now, is selling her own jewelry.
"I have too much going on in my brain to just be a face, an image, without a voice behind it," Wasson said of her creative impulses. So the jewelry line was born (with some sourcing help from close friend Evan Yurman) and will be sold next season exclusively at Maxfield's in LA.
I am so looking forward to seeing this as I think it will be a really masculine and cool line...

So you remember that Herbal Essence advert where the girl is underwater and her hair looks all floaty and stuff!? Well I happened upon some other pieces of Zena Holloway's stuff and she is the most increible photographer and director. To see the film which goes along with this editorial go here.
"Zena Holloway is the UKs leading professional underwater photographer. Her images are striking, instinctive and driven by a deep understanding of her medium. She delivers the remarkable - combining the highly technical aspects of underwater photography with superb creative direction resulting in extraordinary magical imagery.Working in the sea from a young age with photography and film Zena is completely self-taught. She has taken underwater photography to entirely new depths."
Info above from her profile.

Sandar Freij is an incredible Swedish photographer. Here are some of her pics from the Mixte photoshoot she did recently.
"Sandra's work lies dextrously balanced between fashion and art her intensely emotional and powerfully suggestive images have graces the pages of a number of international magazines such as Another Magazine, Another Man, Dazed and Confused, Commons and Sense and The Sunday Times Style. Her skills were finely tuned assisting fashion photographer Horst Diekgerdes and further consolidated on completion of her masters in photography at the institute of Film and Photography Gothenberg."
Her work has been exhibited in a number of group shows both in her native Sweden at the Photography Biennale 2004 as well as in shows in London at the 291 Gallery and The Mall Gallery. Further clients include Top Shop, Marni, Levi's, Fred Perry and Nike.

Aya Kato is another Japanese illustrator who completely blows me away. Only a year older than me it makes me wonder what I have been up to! Funnily enough I prefer her older stuff from 2005 to her more recent pieces which have been used for Orange Mobile Phone Campaigns amongst other (obviously very lucrative) pieces for Microsoft as well as the Tori Amos (Sleeping with Butterflies video). She talks about the soul, nature, pace, love, the harmony of new sense, mental beauty and a 'new Japan.'

Me working right by Carnaby Street is seriously bad for the bank balance!
They hadn't seen each other for ages...
Amanda and I went for a romantic stroll after dinner!
From Ham to Putney to Westbourne Park to Primrose Hill to Camden to Bethnal Green to Carnaby Street and back to Shepherds Bush... Oh the joy of London when it's sunny!

Tiiu in the most incredible photos! They are by Enrique Badulescu - Tiiu is enchanting as well. London is cold again after a few amazingly nice days... boo. Oh and I helped to do this yesterday: www.stylefinder.com the dripping lips jumper is from Jade Jagger's new range. I love it!
Fun weekend to come so hopefully some different photos - my blog has got a little fashion focused, which some people, I expect, will find extremely boring!
